2008 Eagles Captains

Team captains for the Eagles have important responsibilities and the four young men representing the Eagles, do an excellent job in carrying them out.

Tomas Angon

Tomas is one of the most important offensive weapons on this year’s team.  His corner kicks and crossing passes are the some of the best on the team.  His leadership has been an important asset to his teammates and will play a large role if this year's team is to be successful.

Ben Grove

2007 All Tournament

Ben has the potential to be one of the best strikers in the league but due to the lack of experience at the goalkeeper position, Ben will have to play there for the Eagle’s this season. The testament to his character and athleticism is quickly obvious by watching him in the keeper position. Sacrificing his own desires to meet the team’s need is a classic example of the unselfishness team sports represents.

Pete Plumlee

2007 All Conference

Pete is an excellent example of what a young man can do when they decide to do something.  Pete started playing for the Eagles his freshman year and had a weight problem that  effected his ability to play. Over the next several years, through hard work and determination, Pete worked his way into not only a starting position but in his junior season earned All Conference, solidified by his performance in the state play-offs. The success of this year's team will be in no small part to his performance at the center midfield position.

AJ Templeton

 2007 All Conference

AJ has a tremendous heart and anchors the middle of the Huntsville defense. Templeton's leadership played a significant role in last year's state play-off game against CAC in which the Eagles shut out the powerful offense of their opponent's for the first 77 minutes of the game. Long a strong point for the Eagle's, AJ continues the proud tradition at Chief. Leading a strong, but young unit on defense, once again Templeton will be called upon to solidify the Eagle D.
